What is a Quantum Hero?
A Quantum Hero is someone who is certified as a Doctor in Natural or Integrative Medicine, who gives back to their community by volunteering at a Clinic for Humanity. Students can work towards being a Quantum Hero (and receive the Tuition Award immediately) if they enroll in the following programs:
‘DNM – Doctor in Natural Medicine’ certified by the BNMDP – Board of Natural Medicine Doctors and Practitioners.
‘IMD – Doctor in Integrative Medicine’ certified by the BOIM – Board of Integrative Medicine.
When you enroll in a program that leads to one of these certifications, let your Academic Advisor know that you are willing to commit to volunteering at a Clinic for Humanity.
What is a Tuition Award?
A Tuition Award is a humanitarian way to help reduce the cost of a new student’s tuition at Quantum University. A Tuition Award is given to a new student in exchange for hours of services they commit to do at a Clinic for Humanity after their graduation and certification. It is essentially a discount on tuition from a Quantum University program, provided that the student commits now to volunteer later, upon their certification.
How can I receive a Quantum Hero Tuition Award?
In order to qualify for the “Clinics for Humanity” program and Tuition Awards, a student must enroll in a Bachelor to Ph.D Program or Doctorate and Ph.D Program in Natural or Integrative Medicine. Tuition Awards Plans vary based on the program you register to and how a student decides pay for his or her educational program.

All Tuition Award Plans give a direct financial discount on a student’s tuition cost and some include extra educational tools such as an Apple iPad® and/or ZenFrames®. For example, a new student who registers in the Bachelor to Ph.D program and pays in full will receive the Platinum Tuition Award Plan, which is a $3,000 Tuition Award, ZenFrames®, and an iPad. Or, a new student who registers in the Doctorate and Ph.D program and puts $2,500 down with installment payments will receive the Silver Tuition Award Plan, which is a $500 Tuition Award and an iPad.
What is a Clinic for Humanity?
A Clinic for Humanity is an individual or organization that offers health services for free to their community. These clinics and the humanitarian services offered are recognized by the World Organization of Natural Medicine as a “Clinic for Humanity” and receive an honorific certificate. The World Organization of Natural Medicine sets the necessary requirements for those who wish to offer health services, and their current requirements to do a Clinic for Humanity is someone who is certified as a Doctor in Natural or Integrative Medicine.
Who qualifies to be a Quantum Hero?
In order to volunteer at a Clinic for Humanity, the student must be certified as a Doctor in Natural or Integrative Medicine. However, Quantum University wants to reward students who are working towards these certifications. For that reason, when students enroll in a program at Quantum University that leads to one of these certifications, and commit to doing volunteer work later, after their certification, Quantum awards a Tuition Award to be applied immediately to offset these costs.
I am not yet a student at Quantum University: Do I qualify?
Yes, you can qualify! To be a Quantum Hero, students must get certified as a Doctor in Natural or Integrative Medicine. When you enroll in a program that leads to one of these certifications, you will receive a Tuition Award to offset your program costs.
I have already enrolled for just my Bachelor’s: Do I qualify?
Yes, you can still qualify! In order to be a Quantum Hero, however, students must get certified as a Doctor in Natural or Integrative Medicine. When you enroll in a Doctorate to Ph.D program that leads to one of these certifications, you will receive a Tuition Award to offset your program costs.
If I have received a Humanitarian Award, can I still get a Quantum Hero Tuition Award?
If you have received a Humanitarian Award on your Bachelor’s, then, you can still qualify for a Quantum Hero Tuition Award when you enroll in a Doctorate to Ph.D program that leads to certification as a Doctor in Natural or Integrative Medicine. If you already received a Humanitarian Award on a Doctorate to Ph.D, then you have already received a tuition award.
How will Quantum University help me become a Quantum Hero?
Quantum University will help you become a Quantum Hero by offering courses that lead to the necessary certification to open a Clinic for Humanity, by giving information and advice on how to open such a Clinic, and by providing ways for you to document and celebrate your contributions in doing a Clinic for Humanity.

What do I need to do before opening a Clinic for Humanity?
According to the World Organization of Natural Medicine, in order to open a Clinic for Humanity, a student must first get certified as a Doctor in Natural or Integrative Medicine. Got to http://iquim.org/programs/, to see the programs that quantum has that meet this requirement.
I am already doing volunteer work in my field: Does this qualify towards a Clinic for Humanity?
It may qualify! According to the World Organization of Natural Medicine, in order to have a Clinic for Humanity, a student must first be certified as a Doctor in Natural or Integrative Medicine. If you currently have that certification, then that volunteer work will qualify. If you are not yet certified, then it does not yet count towards a Clinic for Humanity, but after you are certified you have a great head-start on having a qualifying Clinic for Humanity.
